Welcome to the FLC Seniors Club!

We are proud to introduce you to our FLC Seniors Club.

The FLC Seniors Club is a non-profit organization operating out of the Trico Centre for Family Wellness as well as other locations in south Calgary.

Membership is available to all seniors over the age of 55, and to their spouses over the age of 50.

The board, at the Oct. 2025 meeting, approved new Vision and Mission statements:

Vision: To foster a vibrant, inclusive, community where seniors connect, stay active, keep learning, and enjoy life together.

Mission: We are an activity-based, volunteer run Calgary club whose mission is to enhance the well being of seniors by offering a wide range of social, physical and artistic activities.  We create opportunities for friendship, fun and lifelong growth through our programs - helping every member feel valued, engaged, and supported in a welcoming environment.

FLC is for Family Leisure Centre which is the original name of the Trico Centre for Family Wellness.  Both the FLC Seniors Club and Family Leisure Centre / Trico Centre for Family Wellness were established in 1980.

Please note that the FLC Seniors Club and the Trico Centre for Family Wellness are separate entities. Membership in one organization has nothing to do with membership in the other.  If you participate in a Trico activity, such as Gentle Fit, you still need to be an FLC Seniors Club member to participate in an FLC Seniors Club activity, such as drop-in coffee.

Contact any of our directors or activity coordinators to obtain information about
the FLC Seniors Club or an activity.
